A major commercial law firm is looking for a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Southampton office. The team acts for national institutional clients, so the work is structured, high volume in places and consistently professional. This is a permanent, senior-level paralegal role with genuine responsibility, not a document review holding pen.

If you have built solid litigation experience and want the credibility of a large commercial firm on your CV, along with the training and processes that come with it, this is a strong move.

The Role

• Managing your own allocation of litigation matters under the supervision of qualified lawyers

• Drafting claim documents, applications and standard court correspondence

• Case management, deadline monitoring and court filing

• Liaising with clients, courts and third parties throughout proceedings

• Supporting and helping to guide more junior paralegals within the team

About You

• Solid litigation paralegal experience gained within a law firm environment

• Confident with civil procedure and court deadlines

• Accurate, process-driven and comfortable with volume without losing quality

• A law degree or CILEX study is useful but experience matters more here
