Residential Property Solicitor | Bournemouth | Hybrid Working | Legal 500 Firm

A Legal 500 recognised law firm in Bournemouth is looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing team. This is a genuinely senior hire with real scope to shape the department, not just fill a seat.

You will manage a full and varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership. The work includes complex, high-value transactions that you will handle independently, so this needs to be second nature rather than a stretch.

Beyond your own caseload, you will mentor junior fee earners and support staff, contribute to the development of the team, and play an active role in business development and client relationship building. You will work closely with the Head of Department, so there is genuine visibility and influence here for the right person.

What you will need:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong residential conveyancing experience (ideally 10+ years PQE, though the right candidate at 7+ would be considered)

• A track record of managing your own caseload with minimal supervision

• Confidence handling high-value and complex transactions

• Strong client care skills and a proactive, commercially aware approach

• Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues (desirable)
