Qualified Conveyancer - Broadstone, Poole

Broadstone, Poole | Full time | Onsite | £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

RecQuest is recruiting a Qualified Conveyancer for a well known Poole law firm. The role is based in the firm's Broadstone office and sits within an active residential property team that sees a consistent flow of quality work from a loyal, returning client base.

This is a practice that has been doing this for a long time and has built its name on doing it properly. The property department is well supported, the client relationships are genuine, and the work comes through reputation rather than panels. The role

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from first instruction through to completion, including:

• Sales and purchases across freehold and leasehold

• New build transactions

• Transfers of equity and re-mortgages

• Title review, raising and responding to enquiries, and reporting on searches

• Preparing contracts, transfers and mortgage documentation through to exchange

• Producing completion statements, requesting mortgage funds and handling completion monies

• SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations

• Keeping clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors updated clearly and regularly throughout

Client care is not a policy statement here. You will be the person your clients rely on from start to finish, and the firm places real importance on keeping people informed, reassured and well looked after.

What you will need

• A current qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

• Confidence running your own files without hand-holding

• Solid working knowledge of residential property law, AML compliance and current regulations

• Experience with case management systems and portal tools

• The ability to keep plates spinning under pressure without dropping the standard of service
