RecQuest is recruiting a Family Solicitor for a Top 100 firm with a well established family team in Guildford.

Family law is demanding work, and where you do it matters. This firm sets targets deliberately designed to protect balance, with fee earners averaging around five and a half chargeable hours a day. In a practice area with a well earned reputation for burning people out, that is worth paying attention to.

Guildford also brings a client base that makes the work genuinely interesting. Significant assets, business interests and pension complexity feature regularly, so the financial remedy work has real substance to it.

The role

• Privately funded divorce and separation matters

• Financial remedy work, including complex asset and pension cases

• Child arrangements and private children matters

• Pre and post nuptial agreements

• Cohabitation disputes

• Direct client responsibility with support from a senior team

About you

• Qualified Solicitor with family law experience

• Confident managing your own caseload

• Sensitive and clear with clients in difficult circumstances

• Interested in developing towards more complex financial work

• Resolution membership or accreditation would be welcomed
