Family Solicitor - Bournemouth

Bournemouth | Permanent | 2 to 5 years PQE | Salary dependent on experience

An established and well-regarded Dorset firm is looking for a Family Solicitor at the 2 to 5 PQE level to join its Bournemouth team. This is a proper development role. You will run your own matters, but with experienced family lawyers around you rather than being left to sink or swim.

Family law at this stage of your career is about two things: the quality of the work you are exposed to and the quality of the people supervising you. This team offers both.

The Role

• Managing your own caseload of private family matters

• Divorce and separation, financial remedy and private children work

• Client meetings from first instruction through to resolution

• Working alongside senior family lawyers on more complex and higher value matters

• Building your own reputation and referral relationships locally

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with around 2 to 5 years PQE in family law

• Comfortable with financial remedy and private children matters

• Empathetic with clients but commercially realistic about outcomes

• Resolution membership or working towards it would be well received
