Employment Solicitor - Southampton

Southampton | Permanent | 3 to 5 years PQE | Salary dependent on experience

A leading regional firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor at the 3 to 5 PQE level to join its Southampton office. The team acts for a strong mix of employer clients alongside senior individual work, so the caseload is genuinely varied rather than weighted to one side of the fence.

At this level, the roles worth moving for are the ones offering better clients, more autonomy and a team with a real reputation in its market. This ticks all three.

The Role

• Advising employer clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters

• Tribunal litigation including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims

• Advisory work on restructures, TUPE, contracts, policies and workplace investigations

• Senior executive and exit work for individuals

• Contributing to client training, know-how and business development

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with around 3 to 5 years PQE in employment law

• Confident running your own matters with appropriate supervision on complex work

• Commercially minded, with the communication skills employer clients expect

• Ambitious about building a practice, not just servicing one
