Employment Lawyer - Lymington

RecQuest is recruiting an Employment Lawyer for a well regarded firm in Lymington.

Employment roles outside the larger commercial centres often mean thin, occasional work. That is not the case here. A local SME and owner managed business base generates consistent advisory and contentious work, and the role carries real client responsibility from the outset.

The role

• Advising employer clients on day to day employment issues

• Contracts of employment, handbooks and policy drafting

• Disciplinary, grievance and performance matters

• Settlement agreements

• TUPE, restructures and redundancy processes

• Employment Tribunal claims, including preparation and advocacy where appropriate

• Some individual employee work alongside the respondent caseload

About you

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with employment law experience

• Comfortable advising business owners in plain, practical language

• Confident managing your own files

• Interested in developing client relationships and local profile
