Corporate Associate - Southampton

Southampton | Full time | Permanent | Hybrid

RecQuest is recruiting a Corporate Associate for a Top 100 firm with offices across the South Coast, Surrey and London.

Corporate work at this level usually means choosing between quality of deal and quality of life. This firm is one of the few places on the South Coast where you genuinely do not have to. The deal flow is substantial, and the working culture is built around fee earners averaging around five and a half chargeable hours a day rather than the numbers you would face in the City.

The role

• Mergers and acquisitions, both share and asset transactions

• Private equity and investment work

• Company reorganisations and group restructures

• Shareholder agreements and corporate governance

• Advising owner managed businesses through sale and succession

• Working directly with clients rather than at arm's length

About you

• Qualified Solicitor with corporate transactional experience

• Confident running your own matters with appropriate support

• Commercially minded and comfortable advising business owners

• Interested in building your own client relationships over time
