Conveyancing Lawyer - Bournemouth

Bournemouth | Full time | Office based | £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience

RecQuest is recruiting on behalf of an established Dorset law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join its residential property team in Bournemouth.

Bournemouth remains one of the most active residential property markets on the South Coast. This firm has been part of that market for a long time and continues to benefit from a strong local reputation, well-established agent and lender relationships, and a client base that returns time and again. The department is busy, well supported and handles work of genuine quality.

This is a role for a conveyancer who values doing things properly. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, with the autonomy to run your files independently and the team support to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

The role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

• Re-mortgages and transfers of equity

• New build transactions

• Leasehold extensions and enfranchisement matters

• Title review, contract preparation and reporting

• Exchange, completion and all post-completion formalities

• Client care, agent liaison and lender communication throughout

The work is consistent, the pipeline is reliable, and you will not be scrambling for files. This is one of those departments where good conveyancers want to stay because the fundamentals are right.

About you

The firm is looking for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with demonstrable residential conveyancing experience.

You will need to be:

• Qualified with a proven track record in residential conveyancing

• Confident managing a full and active caseload independently

• Technically competent across both standard and more complex transactions

• Strong on client communication and able to keep all parties informed and on track

• Experienced with case management systems and property portals

• Based within commuting distance of Bournemouth
