The Role

You will take the lead on a varied civil litigation caseload, with a particular opportunity to develop contentious probate work.

Expect a mix of:

• Contentious probate matters with clear growth potential

• General civil litigation including breach of contract disputes

• Fast track matters and a broad range of privately funded work

There is already a steady stream of instructions coming directly from clients. The focus now is on improving structure, supervision, and commercial output.

What They Are Looking For

This is not a role for someone who needs heavy supervision.

You will likely:

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive

• Have solid experience in civil litigation

• Be confident running your own caseload independently

• Have a strong working knowledge of CPR

• Understand how to manage files commercially and generate revenue

An interest or experience in contentious probate would be a significant advantage.

More than anything, they are looking for someone who can take ownership and bring direction to the department.
